Regional Air Quality Council releases ALT Fuels Colorado vehicle grant
 

July 7, 2017. The Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) announced the release of the ninth round of applications for the ALT Fuels Colorado vehicle grant. RAQC is offering funding to incentivize the purchase or lease of new Original Equipment Manufacturer, class 2 - 8, compressed natural gas (CNG), propane, electric, and CNG bi-fuel vehicles.

   The application guide, application questions and other grant resources can be found on the ALT Fuels Colorado Homepage on the Clean Air Fleets website. All applications must be submitted electronically. The online application will only be active starting July 3rd, 2017.

   The initiative contemplates the participation of public, non-profit and private fleets domiciled in or near the Colorado ozone nonattainment and/or carbon monoxide maintenance areas and operating predominately in the ozone nonattainment and/or carbon monoxide maintenance area. These areas include Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, parts of Larimer, parts of Weld, parts of El Paso, and parts of Teller Counties.
